Wasn’t able to use hot tub for about 3 weeks following surgery, checked the levels frequently during that time but the first time it was used again it foamed up like this and there is a film on the top when it is not running like the other picture…no amount of shocking it has helped

Any idea why that would be?

Since it’s spring now anyways it’s time to drain and clean. Going to replace the filter but wondering if there is anything else I need to do to make sure this doesn’t happen again when I refill it.
