Camper towing long haul
Good day!
I currently own a pop up with a mini van, and wife 3 kids and I looking to upgrade to a SUV and hard top style camper.
Looking at a camper 4170 lbs with a slide out. Wondering will a Honda pilot trail sport with a hitch distribution system tow that.
Or am I looking for certain trouble pulling at my max.
Camper plus the people weight already sitting at 4800. I will be slightly over the max towing of 5000lbs for the pilot.
Yay nay?
It can tow more?
Distribution center helps immensely?
We camp 5 ish times a year, this year doing a trip from Winnipeg to GTA and back with the camper. Hence the set up, tear down time and Tetris game that happens every time we stop..
We wanted a more enjoyable relaxing trip.
