If you told me at the start of the year that the Pittsburgh Penguins would make the playoffs in a season where they looked like a 70 point team at best, I would have believed you. That is how much faith I have in this group.

I am not one of those people saying I wish they just got swept or lost in 5 instead of dragging it out. I believed they could win this series. Yeah going down 0-3 hurt and obviously you wish they never put themselves in that hole, but I still thought they had it in them to come back.

At the end of the day I love this team. This year was frustrating, chaotic, and honestly insane at times, (Throwback to when we lost 9 in a row and blew multiple leads Sharks, Mammoth, Ducks) but it also showed there is still fight here. And looking ahead, there is a lot to be excited about with guys like Murashov, Kindel, Brunicke, McGroarty, Koivunen coming up.

It sucks we have to wait five months for Penguins hockey again, but you already know we are all coming back no matter what.
