Does anyone else have issues with LNS not paying attention to instructions when kitting a canvas? I have been waiting 5 months on a $200+ project that I finally got notification that it was in AFTER (same day in fact) calling and cancelling my order. A 4-6 week turn around that turned into 13 weeks only to get my fibers that did not follow my directives, not all silk as instructed and no silk lame when I specifically said to load it up with all silk lame. Now I’m stuck with “final sale” dull threads that do not spark joy, random amounts of threads were sent - an entire pepper pot skein for about 2 inches of canvas whereas the same amount of canvas for grass got a small card of Tilli Thomas (asked for no wool). This is also from the largest needlepoint shop in the country so the fiber shortage is NOT an issue for them. This is not the first time this has happened with the kitting and I don’t know how much more specific I need to be.
Also the canvas paint quality is pure crap. Mistakes everywhere and impossible to tell if the paint is shaded or covering paint that wasn’t allowed to dry before trying to correct. If anything, this industry shortage seems to just highlight how little many of these shops think about the customer experience.
