Hi everyone,

I’m really new here and I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m honestly getting a bit desperate so I’m trying my luck.

I’m a first-time small business owner from the Philippines and I recently got my very first client order for around 500 pieces of painting. This is my very first real order ever, so I’m really trying my best to make it work properly.

The problem is I’m currently struggling to source 13ct or 18ct mesh canvas (preferably Zweigart or similar quality). I’ve checked a lot of suppliers already but most are either:

• out of stock,
• only selling small pre-cut pieces, or
• extremely expensive with high shipping costs.

Because this is my first time handling a bulk order, I also don’t have a stable supplier yet and my budget is very limited (I even had to borrow money just to start this project).

I’m looking for:

• 13ct or 18ct needlepoint canvas
• preferably in bulk (5–10 yards or roll if possible)
• international or any supplier who can ship to the Philippines

If anyone here has recommendations, suppliers, or even advice on where I can source this more affordably, I would really appreciate it a lot.

This opportunity means a lot to me as a beginner and I really don’t want to lose it just because of sourcing issues.

I have had a few Paige spearin canvases on restock notifications and they were restocked at 12 (just checked the website) and I didn’t receive a text or email. Disappointed to say the least!!!

So Spruce St Studio has been teasing these atelier boxes for a few weeks and I have been desperate for them. Finally they released them to waitlist subscribers this morning..... THEY'RE $1,200!!!!! I find this completely insane. Maybe I'm missing some fundamental knowledge about acrylic that makes it so expensive but literally my jaw dropped.

I read some not so great things about the smoky mountain stitch retreat on here after I had already signed up for the lottery. Was there anyone that thought it was actually worth the price and wanting to go again this year? I never “win” anything and I got one of the lottery spots but now I’m nervous after reading some of the reviews and the good point others made about it being non-transferable. Would you wait and attend a more established retreat?

I’m a designer who posts on TikTok and got a DM from someone wanting to “collaborate”. They said they collaborated with other designers by posting their canvases in their stitch mail, WIPs, and finishes. Kinda think this is just them seeing a canvas they want and asking for it for free lol. They don’t even have over 500 followers so don’t now how that benefits me at all lol

I'm so happy for Morgan Julia that the pop up is such a success and is so popular! But people SLEPT IN THEIR CARS outside of the store and have been at the pop up since MIDNIGHT... is anything that serious??? I thought getting here at 7 was crazy but apparently not.
