hi i’m 24f and haven’t ever been in a relationship with another girl. i’ve been on dates but usually it ended after one. i’m demisexual / romantic i’m pretty sure cause a lot of times if i didn’t feel anything on the first date (which now i obv know is normal lol) i would be afraid of hurting the other person and just told them i think we should stay friends also i am not sexually attracted to anyone before i fall in love with them. i only ever fell for someone once and they love bombed me then ghosted for 2 years and i never got over them, they reached out two months ago then basically ghosted again and i told myself i need to get over this person and started going on dates again. i matched w a girl on a dating app and we went out that night. last week we went on a second date and had a few drinks and kissed. our third date is tomorrow and she invited me over to her place for a movie night but i feel like it’s clear she wants to hook up. i’ve already told her i develop feelings very slowly. i’m not sure i’m ready to be intimate in that way yet because as previously stated, i’m not super sexually into people until i’ve fallen in love with them or know them deeply. she’s super attractive and i do like kissing her but i’m unsure about what to say because i don’t want to let her down. i also am pretty insecure about my body because i gained a lot of weight a few years ago and have lost half of what i gained in the past year and a half but still don’t feel incredibly comfortable with my body. anyways, my question is how should i tell her i want to wait because i don’t want to ruin the vibe of the date & i know she’d be understanding i just feel bad because i’m a people pleaser lol.
