I inherited my Dad's beautiful Koi but due to my own health issues I am now looking to sell/rehome them to a better home. I am southern UK based - where would be the safest and best place to market them? And would it be too demanding of me to ask to see the pond of any potential buyers? I just want to make sure they will have a better life or I may as well keep them and keep struggling to maintain! Also, what would a good price be to encourage genuine buyers and deter bad ones who have no knowledge and just see free pretty fish?
There are 18 in total in the pond (the 15 goldfish I have a local pond centre able to take them on), but 3 large koi (I do not know what type they are) around 20-25 years old. I haven't been able to get an idea of their measurement yet but I am confident they are all over 30cm.
