Husband threatened to kill me and our unborn child
Firstly, I hope everyone here is safe! I hate that this happened to me on a day where mothers are supposed to be celebrated.
I reside in PA, I am in my first trimester of pregnancy . My husband and I have been having a rough time lately and I really need advice on if I should just get a protective order or just go to the police station and file a complaint.
A few days ago his brother came and got some of his things. A pair of sneakers and paper work I missed to pack up. I contacted him earlier today just to ask a question and immediately he claims I stole from him. According to him I stole his sneakers and his paperwork. I stated that wasn’t the case they were just missed and any third party is welcomed to come and get them. He goes on to tell me. I am disrespectful, he will kill me and the baby. I hang up and he texts that he hopes I will die.
He has hit me before and he apologized. However, at this point I am fed up. What should I do at this stage can I file for protection of abuse? Will the police allow me to file a complaint? he is currently on parole supervision
