I am a Dutch game journalist and I wrote a review article (in dutch) covering Invincible VS.

This is my condensed opinion:

• The story is short but sweet. The replacement voice actors are commendable for delivering performances very similar to the TV show.
• The simple button system allows newcomers to the genre to pick up this game and have fun button mashing.
• The combo potential is great but requires experimentation and learning from the community or opponents. I prefer this over a character trainer, but it's not ideal for people who never or rarely play fighting games.
• It's a solid base to build on, and I was surprised by the overall quality from this new studio. I'm excited to see what players can do with their teams.

TLDR: I didn't expect the game to win me over this easy and look forward to get my ass kicked in ranked.

I usually prefer 1v1 fighting games.
