Salon recs for frizzy hair

I’ve been rebonding my hair once a year for as long as I can remember because it’s the easiest, lowest-maintenance option for me. My natural hair is thick, coarse, and quite frizzy, so without rebonding it tends to get puffy and hard to manage. I also usually avoid haircuts between rebonding sessions because once the natural roots grow out and I cut the ends, the puffiness becomes much more obvious much earlier.

Lately though, I’ve been wanting to cut down on the chemical damage. I’m also tired of the super flat “ironed” look and the strong chemical smell after every rebonding session.

What alternatives would you recommend? Are there salons that specialise in cuts for thick/frizzy hair? Or would an anti-frizz/smoothing treatment be a better option — and do those actually last? TIA!!
