I just recently got my daughter a Ninja 500 and while we were practicing in the parking lot, she realized that the speedometer would occasionally read "0". I duplicated the issue by simply "coasting" the bike in first gear. It wouldn't stay on "0" for long - maybe 2-3 seconds - and then go back to reading normally. I couldn't get it to do it coasting in second gear so it seems limited to only doing it in first.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it? If you happen to have a '26 Ninja 500, could you test your bike in a parking lot?
