Hi, I am currently in Class 12th start, and got to know of MEXT, and I am interested in pursuing Information Engineering in Natural Sciences. What I want to know/confirm is:
- I had good percentage in 9th (92.02%) and 10th (90%), but my percentage dropped sharply in 11th. Will this affect my chances?
- Currently, I am preparing for JEE. What is the difficultly level of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (B) in general and compared to JEE, and what topics I might need to study in advance? What questions would you recommend practicing? I have my coaching's modules from 11th, and they have Solved Examples, School Level, Topicwise, JEE Mains, and above level. Should I do them, if yes, then which ones? Or only MEXT Past Papers drilling is enough?
- What else I could do to improve my chances to clear both first and second screening? Do I learn basic Japanese phrases or writing system or anything else?
- I also have consistently earned Olympiad (private) medals (majority gold) from 1st Class till 5th Class, and then later COVID hit, and then in 8th, and 9th class. Could this help in extracurriculars or anything?
- At last, any recommendations you would like to give.
Thanks in advance!
