My older kitty 13F diagnosed with hyperthyroidism July 2025. We have adjusted her methimazole more times than I can count. Ever since being on it, her thyroid levels have been fine. What is NOT fine, is her. She could easily eat 12 full cans of food a day if we let her, she is absolutely ravenous 24/7 and screams for food. She has NO muscle mass left and is just skin and bones. She immediately uses the potty after eating, and her poop has been the consistency of mushy pudding for months. I feel like she's suffering at this point, she is in a constant cycle of ravenous eating, explosive mushy diarrhea, short nap and rinse repeat. Has anyone else come across this before? Every time we get her blood taken everything else is normal including her thyroid level. I don’t know what to do 😢
