Am I overreacting?
My (28M) friends are getting married one after another by the end of this month. But one of my closest friends hasn’t invited me to his wedding.
I’ve known him since 3rd standard. We studied together in school and college, and now we’re even living together in Chennai while working.
Our families know each other well. His parents officially visited my home (which is near his home) and invited my parents & me when I wasn’t there. What hurt me more was that I wasn’t invited to his engagement either, while the rest of our friends from our native place were invited.
I’m confused because I don’t want to create a scene during his wedding, especially since I have to attend another close friend’s wedding the very next day.
Honestly, all I wanted to hear was:
“Doodu, enakku marriage da. Kandippa vanthuru.”
Should I attend his wedding?
