Moving to Shillong for 3 months
I'll be moving from Tamil Nadu to Shillong this month end for academics and request some clarification and recommendations.
ACCOMODATION - What would be the rent of a 1BK/1BHK, fully furnished? Are furnished accommodation commonly available? Suggest me locality names around women ITI. Any of you have plans to rent out for three months?
LOCAL COMMUTE - What is the commonly used local commute here? Are autos available and economical? Are app based bike/auto available? If I opt for monthly hiring of scooter, what would be the cost?
FOOD - Where could I get boiled peanuts, sprouts, and similar items on a daily basis. In my native, I get them just outside the playground where I go for walking.
FITNESS - Recomend a gym I could join with general trainers good at dealing middle aged men. Preferably near the accommodation you recommend. I also require a playground nearby for walking/jogging.
