My (34m) fiance A (33F) and I recently joined Feeld in the hope of finding someone that might want to join us in the bedroom.
After a few weeks and conversations with different people, my fiance has expressed an interest in exploring polyamory, and having separate relationships from me with other men. Not knowing that much about polyamory at first, I was a bit hurt, but I'm trying to educate myself and get a better understanding of how this could work.
We have both met one person each from Feeld - I met a guy a couple of weeks ago and it was strictly platonic, he was nice enough, but there was no physical affection, and I had a strong feeling of guilt afterwards, as if I had cheated. That same day, A had a date with a guy and there was a bit of physical affection showed (kissing, which we agreed was fine) and she came back feeling very positive and excited about it - which is fair enough.
After A's date, I had pretty extreme anxiety and couldn't sleep for most of the night. We have talked things through a few times over the last week and a bit that it happened, and agreed that A could try again and we can come up with better strategies to manage the anxiety.
There have been a few times that I have had strong feelings of compersion about A's experiences, and more times that I've had feelings of being left behind. It hasn't all been bad - but my feelings towards it are generally linked to how good or bad my mood is at the time, and so it's hard for A to know what she should do because my feelings about it all have been so up and down.
I think something that really triggered my anxiety about it all was the level of detail that I asked A to give me about what happened. Going forward, I've suggested that A gives me no detail about what is happening, and I'm hoping that what I don't know doesn't hurt me.
