Krak card: payment "Authorized" but no cashback
I have bought some Paysafecard money with my Krak card. The line on the Krak app for this purchase is marked as "Authorized" and I have not received any cashback.
Could you please tell me if that's normal?
On this FAQ page it is stated: "Some merchant, such as gas stations, hotels, car rentals, and ATMs, may place a temporary authorization hold that is higher than the final transaction amount. Please ensure you have additional funds available in your account to cover this hold. Authorization holds are usually released automatically once the merchant completes or cancels the transaction. If an authorization hold does not release after the merchant has completed or canceled the transaction, please contact merchant for assistance."
Is that what's happening here?
I would appreciate if Kraken were to add an additional FAQ point on their website specifically dedicated to listing all the status of a payment (Pending, Authorized, others if any) with their explanations.
EDIT: the "Authorized" has been removed, but there is in fact no cashback if your purchases is of a Paysafecard.
