14-hour international flight alone with a mobile toddler… help me prepare 😂
Traveling internationally soon with my 1-year-old and I’ll mostly be handling him on my own during a 14-hour flight. He’s at that super active stage where he constantly wants to move, explore, and gets bored easily 😅
Would love any tips from parents who’ve done long-haul flights with toddlers around this age:
\- sleep strategies
\- meals/snacks
\- toys/activities that actually worked
\- diaper changes
\- managing meltdowns
\- how often you walked around
\- things you wish you brought (or didn’t bring)
We’ll most likely be flying United Airlines Polaris, so I’d especially love to hear from anyone who’s flown Polaris with a toddler:
\- Was it actually helpful?
\- Was the seat setup manageable with a 1-year-old?
\- Did your child sleep okay?
First-time mom here just trying to mentally prepare 😂 Any advice appreciated!
