My bf (21) and me (20) have been dating for almost two years. Ever since we have been dating we've both had reoccurring yeast infections. We've both been tested to make sure it was nothing else and I even went to Urgent care one time to make sure it was just yeast infections and yes, it was. Every time we both use the miconazole cream or monistat for me. And just recently we both took a fluconazole pill, hopefully to relieve and get rid of it but I fear it's going to come back. Another helpful piece of information is that my bf is not circumcised. We have started washing ourselves almost every time before we do it because of fear we'll get another but honestly it's just ruining our sex life and it's making us both miserable and anxious of if we'll get another one. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing it?? We have both gotten them probably once or twice a month since we've been dating. I just really want help because when it first started happening he even accused me of cheating on him and I just can't take the physical and emotional stress of this anymore. Sometimes it doesn't even feel like a full blown yeast infection but I'll feel burning on the inside.
