why are all my reels going to india lol what am i doing wrong

ok so i've been posting reels for a while now, short clips like 8 sec with a question on screen and the answer in the caption. engagement's fine but literally every time i check insights it's like 90% india and i'm tryna build an audience in the US?? like how does that even happen lol. what is the algo even looking at. is it the thumbnail? the font? the colors? genuinely have no idea what signals it uses to decide where to push stuff. so what kind of content or visuals actually work for pulling in a US crowd, anyone know? would love to hear what's worked for you

How are ppl growing SaaS/community products rn?

Curious what distribution channels are actually working today for subscription-based SaaS/community products.

Organic short form content feels insanely slow when starting from 0, paid ads are expensive, and cold outreach barely works unless u already have an audience.

For ppl building community-driven SaaS products, what’s been working best for growth?

Affiliates? Creators? SEO? Partnerships? Niche forums? Something else?

Would genuinely love to hear real experiences from ppl in the space.

How do people actually grow a SaaS thru affiliate marketing today?

I built a men’s brotherhood on Whop.
It has dating & relationship courses, community calls, feedback, and an active space where guys share wins, failures, breakups, approaches, everything.

The product itself is solid.
The hard part has been marketing.

I tried growing through Reels, but starting from 0 is brutal.
So I thought: distribution comes thru people.

I started offering affiliates high commissions + rev share. Reached out to creators, theme pages, small influencers, etc.

But most either:

  • ignore the message
  • say “sounds good bro” and never move
  • or join and do absolutely nothing

It’s been almost 2 months and not a single serious affiliate has brought sales yet.

For people who actually scaled thru affiliates:
What changed the game for you?

Did you:

  • build a personal brand first?
  • recruit differently?
  • pay upfront?
  • focus on a few killers instead of many people?
  • automate outreach?
  • or was it just a numbers game?

Would genuinely appreciate real advice from people who’ve been thru this.
