2026, Flesh Off the Future, (by me)

Just wanted to share the first thing I’ve created after 7 weeks of struggling to draw.

Can I use your soul as a blanket
to cover my sins?
My neck still holds your fingertips.

Do I even exist beyond hate,
or is what you store inside your soul about me
just a corrupted copy?

You gave away your inner child,
taking a scalpel from my heart
to flesh off your future from your bones.

You might be waiting for my hands
to carry the pain away, to clean all the blood,
but you just walk on eggshells around me,
yet they cut deeper, to the core.
I know this pale, empty look.

So tell me:
how do I sell time when I don’t buy it?
How do I murder death when I’m bargaining my life with it?
How do I steal more from you when nothing’s left?
Keep screaming the same insult
over each other’s heads.

Will my navel scar heal up, should I get it repierced?

It turned out my navel was pierced too shallow, so my piercer suggested repiercing it.

Photos are from 1 day after removal. The hole closed up almost immediately. It had been in for around 9 months.

I really want to do it again correctly, but I’m pretty concerned about the scar. Wouldn’t it look awful? The skin above my bellybutton looks looser and I’m afraid a new navel piercing might look bad with a visible scar underneath.

Are my concerns valid or am I overreacting?

Rejecting or just irritation? (navel piercing)

I got it about 9-10 months ago. I’ve had zero problems with it before. It’s not painful or anything. There is some whitish discharge, which you can see on the bar. I clean it with water Cerave foaming cleanser and occasionally with Octenisept.

I’m freaking out.

From the front, it’s tilted

Hi,

I had a sinus lift & bone graft 3 weeks ago (healing well). I’m planning to get a tongue web piercing as soon as it's safely possible.

My dental treatment is still ongoing: implant is planned in 9 months, followed by around 6 months of follow-ups and adjustments, including multiple CBCT scans where I'd need to remove any oral jewelry each time (which I know isn't ideal for a healing piercing.)

The full process is ~1.5 years and I'd prefer not to wait that long if it's possible to do it sooner.

What would you consider the safest timing in this situation?

Thanks!
