I just like the mystery of the missing Primarchs a lot. I read a snippet from a Custodes codex a while ago that one or both of them might be locked away in the dark cells. I thought it’d be neat if their gene was still being used to make marines which is what’s resulting in all these chapters with unknown foundings and heritages.
I thought a recreation of the 2nd would be cool, but they’re also nice like the salamanders, but I realize I also made them look similar because I just like green and wanted green space marines so I’ve focused on accenting with yellow, white, and red to differentiate units. I also want champions to play a larger role in the chapter structure because they’re cool, so I thought veterans could choose to go into more leadership roles to join the command structure or go into being mentors and advisors as champions.
