I've been doing this with my friend for a long time since our families were very close and he'd just come over to play and watch movies. My mom actually thought this was sweet since she didn't have close friends when she was young so she encouraged it. But we're now in a boarding school and were assigned to the same room. It's for 2 people so obviously there are 2 beds, but he prefers to share.
We decided to push mine to the wall so there was a smaller chance of one of us falling off. (Actually thought of pushing both beds to the wall but the staff checks every other week and they might have gotten the wrong idea)
I actually asked one of my classmates (without mentioning we did it) if this was weird and he said it was super gay. But this is normal for close friends right?? I mean we didn't do anything weird with each other
