I’m new to changing doll body colors and haven’t done it much before. I’m trying to make the body a very light cream (pretty much white with a tiny hint of pink essentially). I bought the lightest body I could find at the time, but it’s still not enough, so I painted it with very thin layers of acrylic. Even though I sealed it, I’m still having chipping at the joints. I’m wondering if there is a way to lighten the body more? I’ve heard of people using acne cream to lighten stains, but I’ve also heard that it cannot be gotten rid of and will continue to lighten the body regardless of being washed. I plan to paint dark accent tattoos on top of the skin, so would that be affected if I used hydrogen peroxide? Is there something else I should use? I’m just trying to avoid repainting it, but I will if I have to.
