Last year, the app kept having a really annoying issue on my phone where it would randomly freeze. Touch input wouldn’t be recognized, and I couldn’t even exit the app. The only way to fix it temporarily was by turning the screen off and on multiple times until touch started working again.

Whenever the screen came back, I would get a message saying something like “this app is not optimized” — it didn’t even clearly say which app, but it was obviously WhatsApp.

After a while, I tried everything: switching phones, going back to the stable version, then returning to the beta version (I’m a beta tester, by the way). The problem lasted for about 3 months until some update finally fixed it.

However, about a month ago, the exact same issue came back. And honestly, I’m done with it. The app freezes extremely hard, sometimes even freezing the entire phone. I’ve already tried every solution I could find online, and nothing worked.
