Yesterday should have been my happiest day..

waiting for last vesting ESOPs and salary with hike..

Morning only received message ~₹17L salary credited.. this is till now biggest deposit in a month from salary..

Went and opened the pay statement gross > ₹25L… felt amazing for a second.

And saw taxes: >₹8L.
Funny part? ₹8L is exactly what’s left on my home loan.

turns out I just cleared an invisible loan to the government..
