I have a half marathon coming up and I decided I was going to treat myself to some new shoes. Got the asics superblast 3 and did 5 miles last night. When i finished I had some knee pain, lower calf pain, and ankle pain I've never experienced before. How are shoes everyone raves about causing pain in so many different spots? The step in feel is wonderful, but now im worried I wasted a bunch of money. Typically I run in the gel nimbus or brooks launch with no issues. Did anyone else have this problem and then had the issue go away after a few runs? I was so excited for these shoes 😔
