So I (F18) have been talking to this guy (M19) for a while now and things have been clearly going in a romantic direction. We only have a few days left of this semester before we both go home for the summer in states that are pretty far apart. Him and I have a lot in common and I’ve always thought he was cute and wanted to get closer to him but now that we started being better friends and possibly more, he breaks to me that he’s transferring to a school in his home state. I at first was okay with it because at that point we hadn’t been flirting yet and I have plenty of friends in other states. But since we’ve been really starting to flirt and get a feel for each other in a more romantic way, I feel worse and worse about him leaving. I’m not a very clingy person or anything and he visits the state our current school is in a lot so it’s not like I would never see him but I hate the idea of not being able to just be with each other whenever we have free time rather than having to plan some whole thing. I personally have had a long distance relationship before that ended up with us almost never talking and eventually breaking up because we fell out of touch. I just don’t want that to happen again for either of our sake. Any advice is greatly appreciated since we only have 3 days left until we both fly home.
