Hey 'howdy and hello; as it says on the tin, I'm looking for either a mini-series or a one-shot that takes place after some sorta cataclysmic event that ravaged earth, leaving only the Meta-Human around to survive it.
Though the kicker is for the first half of it said survivors don't have their powers for a while, only leaving the real smart ones to really pick up the slack in the new world; even magic users were cut off from their source of power. I think the main lead was Superman who was getting romantically involved with Wonder Woman, while a grown up Captain Marvel/Shazam was jealous of this fact 'so he ends up a villain for the ladder half
at some point heroes & villains get some of their powers back, causing one last war on the Earth that ruins the planet for good; During the story though Wonder Woman & Superman have kid whom they ship of via an escape pod someone was making before the planet exploded, basically creating a new Superman mythos
I don't recall too many details outside the strange turned evil Captain Marvel/Shazam and the ending bits; I also recalled the backgrounds were set mainly outdoors in little hut type towns. In any case, I would like some help trying to find it-- any & all leads are appreciated as always
