My boyfriend of over a year, who has been very abusive for a while, did something to me yesterday that I can’t make sense of. I was really high and he wanted to have sex, I said no because I was sore from how much we did it prior, he insisted and I kept saying no. He eventually just kind of decided that we were gonna do it and I just went along with it because I didn’t wanna argue with him. Then when we started doing it I was telling him to stop because I was in immediate pain from already being sore, he kept telling me “You’ll be okay” “It’ll stop hurting” and eventually he did stop, after I started crying and kept telling him to stop. Once he got off of me he told me to “be grateful that I did stop” and brought up a time I had gotten raped prior to meeting him and said “You were wet this time, must have been wet then” and “You must like it” but later that night said “You know I would never do something like that to you” “I stopped because I would never hurt you”
Was this rape? Or am I mistaken?
