Ok obviously yes dating your friends ex is a horrible thing to do but there’s technicalities to my situation. First off i’m in high school, 10th grade, and I just became friends with Sophie (what we’re gonna call her) this year and i’ve been sitting next to her in the one class we have together this whole year. btw i’m a girl and lesbian and Sophie is bi and my friend is a straight boy. Me and her have been getting closer since I met her.
But the thing is her and my friend broke up at the end of 8th grade year so their relationship is far gone. He’s just still stuck on her and even talks to me about her. But yall have to get it, she’s such a great girl. Like genuinely this is the first time i’ve fully liked liked someone and i’ve never been in a relationship before so I genuinely don’t know what to do.
And today in class I was sitting in between Sophie and my friend and she kept touching me which resulted in him whispering to me at the end of class “are you trying to steal my girl” but that’s the thing, she’s not your girl. Yall broke up in middle school and you’ve had many girlfriends since then.
But all in all am I in the wrong? Cause to make it worse I have social anxiety so it’ll make me physically ill if I try to confess anything so I might just see if this problem goes away on its own
