I am seven weeks in with a Weber B fracture following a very simple fall. It was assessed as 40/60 on whether it would require surgery at the time with mild displacement. I have been in the boot and non-weight-bearing for seven weeks and new x-rays show little progress on the healing. I’m allowed to weight bear now in the boot, and out of the boot with support. Will get more x-rays in four weeks and reassess, with a view to autograft surgery if little improvement. I really really don’t want surgery, or to start the clock on non-weight-bearing post surgery, as a live alone and the first seven weeks was hard enough. Has anybody else been through this ?
