Metal roof condensation
Redoing the insulation on my old mobile home. I’m wondering if I can just put fiberglass insulation batts directly under the metal roof. Or will they be ruined by roof condensation. I tore out some old moldy fiberboard that was under the metal and someone told me I shouldn’t have done that because it was a vapor barrier to prevent condensation. I’ve been recommended to do spray foam but it’s way out of my budget. If anyone has any knowledge of what I should do I would really appreciate it . Just don’t want to re do all the insulation only for it to be ruined by the metal roof sweating.
