Updated my iPadPro 13” to the latest and greatest with the keyboard attached. Big mistake. Immediately after the update the keyboard is dead: no light on the keys, no trackpad feedback, no way to charge via the keyboard. The iPad is fine but the keyboard is cooked.

Just got it replaced for free in-store from Apple, but I’d strongly suggest you detach your iPad from the magic keyboard before updating.

Genius Bar guy said it was the first time he’d seen it. I was worried because it was out of warranty, but they took care of me.
