Should I Tell My Crush About My Feelings or Let It Slide?

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting anything in this sub, and I just wanted to know what y'all think about this situation.

So basically, I have this crush on this one girl that I have known for a long time. We went to the same middle school and high school, and we stayed pretty close friends because we rode the same bus and lived close in the neighborhood. Throughout that time, a lot of people have been "shipping" us, and I slowly grew to like her, but by the time I realized it was too late, we were in different states for college. Right now, I go to school on the Upper East Side of the state, while she's on the Lower East Side, and we've been on calls here and now to catch up.

Recently, however, because our midterms and finals overlap, we have been calling almost every day for three weeks to have study seshes and play some video games together. The calls would go on for a good 2-3 hours, and she would end the call right before she went to sleep. Sometimes she would call twice a day for the same amount of time each. I really didn't know why she called me so often, since she had other friends she could've studied with, but now I have this suspicion that she MIGHT be into me, or at least be interested.

And just a few days after our college semester ended, she came to my state with a couple of friends for a trip, and we met up (without) her friends and hung out, which only added to my suspicions... But I really don't know if she is still into me or if she's just like this as a person.

The problem right now is that I have to take a year and a half of mandatory military service back home, and I am struggling with whether I should at least let her know how I feel about her. Should I tell her how I feel, or do you guys think it's a bad idea and just let this paper boat sail out to sea? If yes, how should I go about doing this? We did talk about meeting up once more before I go to the military.

Let me know if you need any other information, and thanks for reading this long ahh post 😄
