Shop to buy iPhone charger cable cheap

Tourist here, forgot my charging cable at home and must charge later today. Would like to get it for the cheapest possible price. Specifically looking for an old iPhone cable, with the thin adapter end. The "lightning connector" one, not USB C. Thanks for any suggestions

M25, frequent visitor from Germany

The UK is a lovely place. Due to the many future visits intended, it seems to make sense striking some friendships over there. Talking online for a while before meeting is more convenient and less stress inducing, surely most people on here agree.

Ive been to Manchester several times and Wales once. Will visit London and Edinburgh as often as I can over the next decades, besides the Alps and Baltics the British Isles are my favourite corner of Europe. The exported entertainment media(Aardman Animations, Philomena Cunk etc.) and general cozy vibes are wholesome for example.

In brief about me, I enjoy strolling around parks and exploring new outskirts of the towns I live in, but also spend many weeks being at home and either doing some basic repairs around the apartment or taking care of family. I work as a security guard, volunteer in a homeless shelter once in a while, support my parents' small business

I will visit Warsaw soon and would like to learn some absolute basic phrases. How to ask for prices, how to say that Im just a tourist, how to politely decline vendors and so on. Furthermore, I would appreciate some locals explaining some information about the place to me, especially how public transport operates in the city and where to potentially get special passes for museums and galleries.

In return Im glad to help out with both German and English. Ive already supported a substantial number of people in their German learning, including some advanced university students with exam preparation. Its a joy to me and I would describe myself as a chill, comfortable learning partner. Im aware that many people learn languages on side to their main projects and work, therefore I never expect any regular progress and am absolutely fine if the entire process takes a long time.

When Im in Warsaw I would like to visit some rather niche and less frequented cultural sites, perhaps some spots which mainly locals are familiar with. If anyone acquainted well with the city would drop some recommendations, thatd be the cherry on top.

Looking for a sports studio where I can pay an entrance fee for the day or something similar. My hotel wont have any facility of that sort. Not looking for anything fancy, some machines and basic cardio area. Distance from center does not matter, price range is also no issue. Thanks

Visitor from Germany, will be in Warsaw from the 12th to 14th to accompany two friends to an appointment there. Theyll be busy most of the day and I will be on my own. Surely I could simply tour around the ordinary tourist hotspots of the city, but Id like some further recommendations.

  1. Im fascinated by the contrast between the Soviet and Post Cold War eras, also about the horrible damage during WW2 and perhaps even back into the times of the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth. Any suggestions, recommendations for rather niche sites I could visit? Special memorial grounds, ruins or antiquaries

  2. Im not into concerts, restaurants or crowded places, yet Id like to experience some places where locals hang around and spend their afternoons. Ideally even some places where striking a conversation with someone would be feasible, as Ive spent the last few years actively forcing myself to be less reclusive.

  3. I would like to talk to some locals beforehand, a bit more in depth about the city and what they like to do. This sub might be a good start but are there any further options, like more specific subs or platforms, to get in touch with young locals? Any form of connecting would be appreciated

Greetings from neighbouring Germany. I will be in Warsaw for a couple days in a few weeks from now, to accompany someone to an appointment. I wont have much to do there and would like to find some locals online beforehand.

Is there a sub for Polish people to connect or even specifically Warsaw? Is there anything else to recommend how I could talk to locals beforehand and perhaps might make some acquaintances who would like to show me places?

In case it matters for the kind of recommendations, Im a rather calm person and dont even listen to most music, thats how meek and reclusive I usually am. Neither partying nor clubs are for me

Absolute basics, asking for prices or directions and telling someone that Im a tourist for example and so on. I will be in Florence later this year and want to learn some vocabulary and phrases for quick, easy responses. In turn Id be happy to help anyone learning German or English. Ive already helped 10+ people with German studies, assisting some of them even in university exam preparations. Even if you arent Italian but want to learn, practice German, hit me up nonetheless as I genuinely enjoy helping out

In short about me, in case anyone wants more information. M25, work as security guard, mixed race(half Asian, half German)
