Dallas Sport Social Club Experience?

Hey y'all, I'm about to graduate from UTD and have really been exploring doing more stuff post-grad that isn't associated with my school. How is y'alls experience participating in the Dallas Sport Social Clubs events? I'm pretty interested in playing Flag Football & Softball, however, I'll just be going alone cause a lot of my friends aren't super big into sports, so I'm worried that I won't be able to reliably get on a team because of this. Just wanted to ask if anyone else has experience participating solo, and if y'all would recommend doing this. Thanks!

Hey y'all! I'm applying for a Master's in Data Science at the University of Texas at Austin. I was previously denied for a past term, but I've decided to apply again because I felt my preivous SoP read more like a resume rather than my purpose of attending the school.

According to UT's website, here is what they want for a SoP: "Statement of Purpose: In two double-spaced pages, describe the events/experiences that prepared you for this program, your academic and professional interests, your reasons for pursuing graduate study, and your goals related to this program. Use 1-inch margins and 12 pt font. Upload this item through your MyStatus Document Upload System. If you have applied before and were denied, please include in this document a summary of the steps you have taken to improve your application profile."

I'll gladly DM you a copy of my SoP if you are willing to help. Thank you!!

My professor accused me of using AI on one of my papers and I'm thinking of submitting a case to the student conduct office. What are y'alls experiencce with this and how long does it normally take? I'm about to gradaute this semester and don't want to potentially delay anything just for one assingment. Thanks!

I’m coming at this from a bit of a unique angle. I'm about to graduate with a degree in Management Information Systems, and all my past internships have been tech-related, so just pure coding and I had one in IS Assurance. After seeing all the news about tech layoffs lately, I feel like it's a blessing in disguise that I got a job in FP&A. I honestly don't know much about this career path, and now I feel like my whole career trajectory has changed haha. So I just wanted to ask, is the FP&A job market generally more stable than tech? Does it suffer from the same "boom and bust" layoff cycles, or is it a relatively safe industry to pursue? Thanks in advance!
