Greetings, I'm a prior Marine who transferred to the Army Guard a little over two years ago. My MOS didn't cross over so I've been designated 09U for the two years out of the three I signed for. Considering I have less than a year left, I don't understand why they would push for me to MOSQ at this point, especially since I'm 100% leaving. I'm trying to return back to active so I'm considering a conditional release. Obviously a soldier who's non MOSQ probably looks bad for the command and I've been reading about there being possible separation after 48 months of non MOSQ? If I submit a conditional release while also not being MOSQ, would my command be more willing to work it up the COC to get me off their books? Lastly, considering a conditional release is hit or miss, would it even be worth it given I have less than a year left?
Thank you all
