Metal in fuel filters?

Metal in fuel filters?

I have a 2016 f350 Powerstroke with 155k miles I’m well aware of these trucks fuel pump issues. For the past 50k miles I have had big pieces of metal in my filter housing but I’ve never had any fuel pump issues. What is it? There is also no metal in the filter itself.

Hello, I am moving to Anchorage from Wisconsin in mid-May with my fiancé. We are looking for a house in a safe neighborhood. Budget is $2,500/month. Need a property that allows 1 small dog and has enough driveway space to park a truck and a 16-ft enclosed trailer. Long-term tenant, fiancé has confirmed employment. Can provide references. Please DM if you know of anything available.

Thanks!

I deleted my truck back in October of 2024 and put a SOTF. I was rough on it at first but I need my truck to last a long time so I switched to stock tune and have left it there, I feel like the truck has very little power but it’s the only tune that doesn’t roll coal. I tow often, what tune should I leave it in for my truck to last as long as possible? Also the EGR is just unplugged. Should I remove it completely? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
