I was so surprised to see how popular the name Emma has been the past 20 years. I was born in 95 and my graduating class had over 300 students - No Emma’s.
I know Emma really picked up in popularity after the year 2000 and I became a middle school teacher and I’ve never had a student named Emma or even heard of a kid in anyone else’s class named Emma.
I know the top names aren’t as popular as they used to be in terms of numbers but still! Anyone else have a similar scenario with a popular name they never actually encounter?
I like the name and since it doesn’t feel popular to me would maybe consider it for a little one!
