I had a very brief FWB that lasted for about 6 weeks before I decided that we may be better as friends. Fast forward a few months and I start dating someone new. She asked if I still talk/text with any exs. I told her I have a friend that I briefly hooked up with who I still talk to and text. She asked me to not text her as that made her uncomfortable. I have a very good friendship with the other person and understand the new woman’s perspective but I really don’t want to lose a friend over this. How would you handle this situation? I am really into this new person and want to make it work but feel like this is a bit of a red flag to ask me to cut someone off. Any advice/opinions are appreciated.
