2nd access point
I recently moved my gaming setup into my basement. I want to create a second access point down there so I can connect ethernet. At the moment the coaxial(cable TV/internet)(in the big 26 I know, not my choice) comes in through the basement then goes into a splitter going to every room including where the router is. Is there a way to put a 2nd router before the splitter but still have the connection pass through to all the other lines? Obviously I can add it after the splitter, but I know the speeds wont be as good. Just not sure if its even possible and thats my main question
