Failing to shed fat body recomp

28M back in the gym after some time away. Been back for 3 months. Eating the right amount of protein in a calorie deficit, also creatine 5g per day.

After 2 months very minimal visible fat loss. Frustrated, I upped my calories as the large deficit was not working. Now, I seem to be gaining fat as well as muscle.

All very frustrating this is the first time in my life I have struggled with fat loss. I just want it gone. Any advice please? TIA
