I recently crafted a pair of flat back earrings using LuAG and found myself captivated by this lab-grown gemstone. However, I’m not entirely clear on the differences between LuAG and YAG. From a cost perspective, YAG is significantly less expensive than LuAG, and I feel that the fluorescence they emit appears somewhat similar. Have any of you had experience working with these two types? How do you distinguish between them? Which one is considered better or more popular?
