Help me identify this snail
I recently bought 2 black horned nerite snails from petco for my 55gal tank and this guy appeared out of nowhere. I don’t know if he came with the snails, I double checked the bag to see if there were any hitch hikers and I didn’t see anything else besides the two snails. There’s no other fish in this tank yet besides the 3 snails. I asked Claude to identify it, and it says it’s a Bladder snail. But when I search up pictures of bladder snails, it doesn’t look like it. It looks more like a Ramshorn, but I’m also not too sure. Whatever this guy is, I am already expecting an infestation due to the amount of algae I have in this tank. I’ve been debating about taking him out, but he’s just too cute and he’s super active too.
P.s: I’m sure you can see but I’m also struggling with a Cyanobacteria infestation. Any tips to get it out and stop growing? I’ve sucked up most of it when I did a water change recently, but it still continues to grow. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this type of bacteria and have any advice on how to get rid of it.
