I guess I really never noticed one sits higher than the other 😂

Ok anyways!!! Serial plucker millennial here. I’ve been so careful to grow these bad boys out and not get them threaded or pluck. I’m so happy they’ve grown in the areas that were sparse. Question is - do I go to get them cleaned up professionally? Or do I leave them?

I don’t understand what happened and customer service is zero help. I went to Ipsy (on May 1) to see why I wasn’t charged my monthly subscription fee, I was looking forward to choosing my items. Created a ticket and they said “I’ve checked your account carefully, and based on our records, the membership update was made on 06/01/25. Since then, your plan has been set up to receive shipments on an every-other-month schedule. For example, this year you received boxes in February and April, with April being your most recent shipment”

But I didn’t. And they make it a point to ensure changes are made before the 1st of the month when billing occurs. What is happening!? Did this happen to anyone else?

Hiya dentists and dental pros!

Longtime teeth grinder & nighttime clencher here. Bruxism queen 👸🏻

My fancy dentist night-guard is cracked and I just can’t swing $700 for another one right now. I did tons of research and got a hard top night-guard from proteethguard. I did the impressions and sent them pictures for the lab techs to review. There was some back and forth questions on my wisdom teeth (3rd molars) that I wasn’t sure how to answer. The customer service rep said I didn’t quite capture my 3rd molars in the impression, but its okay because nightguards don’t typically cover the 3rd molars due to comfort, and there wouldn’t be contact anyways due to the thickness of the guard. My current guard does *just about* cover the wisdoms and is comfortable. I feel like if I try to recall what my previous guards looked like, they either covered them completely or just about did.

3rd molar history: I grew them on the top, but not the bottom. They don’t cause issues and I do use them a bit so my dentist lets me keep them.

Am I doing any harm by having my newest guard not cover them? I see some conflicting info on super eruption and bite issues from a nightguard that doesn’t cover all the teeth. I had braces for like 8 years when I was a kid and I take my teeth health pretty seriously.

Thanks for taking the time to read if you made it this far!
