I think im struggling with this season because the show this season is really struggling to advance the plot naturally, combined with some rather average writing and acting.

Feels like a lot of plot points are being advanced by characters having very big prose moments where they explain in detail why theyre acting the way theyre acting rather than plot points forcing character action and character development. These moments also feel very forced rather than natural developments of the story. It almost feels like i can see the writers sitting at the table with their storyboard... not sure how to explain it.
