Estimate for breaker replacement and bathroom GFCI code
My wife and I are trying to sell her condo. The inspection said that the 2 AC window fans keep blowing the breaker and that there’s no GFCI in the bathroom. We had an estimator come - who didn’t give us an estimate(! Said he had to “call the owner”) but who did point out that the bathroom cannot by code have a GFCI box because it’s not a dedicated breaker but the breaker could be made GFCI. Additionally, he noted that the two window ACs are on different breakers and ideally it just needs a new breaker.
Can anyone chime in on: 1/ what’s a reasonable estimate for a breaker replacement and 2/ if the breaker is made GFCI will the bathroom technically be GFCI as well? Literally the only things the buyer wants fixed is so the AC doesn’t flip the breaker and the bathroom has GFCI.
