Hi everyone. I was curious about how people felt about the Schradieck scale/Technics vs the Mazas etudes. Specifically, do they fill different roles? I already own Mazas books I & II. Also the Hrimaly scale studies. I've been getting back in the groove of practicing on my own and was curious if the Schradieck was worth getting for now.

Background info: I have been playing for almost 40 years. My last teacher was before I had kids (2011-13) and had me playing songs graded RCM 8 that I'm currently relearning. I'll be starting with a new teacher soon (within the next few months) once our schedules align.
