Our Disney bathroom

We travel to Disneyland probably once a year and 2 years ago we decided that when we bought our new house we would turn one of our bathrooms into a Disney bathroom. My wife loves Disney and she was ecstatic when I came up with this idea.

So covering our wall in a wrap around, restroom signs from around Disneyland Park LOL

It is a work in progress as we clean up and decide what photos make the cut. But here is a little snippet.

Coffee station post

Even though I am currently looking to upgrade from my Bambino Plus , I'm really happy with the way everything turned out up to this point. I initially bought a Keurig for the coffee station because as much as I love making espresso I worried that there just might be days or might be time where a basic black cup of coffee that I don't have to watch don't have to monitor would be nice, but I tell you I haven't really touched this Keurig in a month?

I wanted something to give me Cafe vibes so I purchased a print of Vincent van Gogh's Cafe terrace.

Can I also wanted to get more off the table for organization and so I 3D printed and Ikea skadis pegboard panesl and accessory bins for everything.

I have a spot for my Puck screens, for tasting spoons, and hooks for my portafilters.

Dual Boiler research frustration [$1500-$2500]

For context, I tend to over-research. I did the same before buying my Breville Bambino Plus espresso machine and ended up loving it. Now I’m ready for the next step.

I’ve been talking with a few dealers, including Clive Coffee and Whole Latte Love, as I start looking to upgrade to a dual boiler. I was initially considering the Profitec Pro 300 espresso machine, but I know it’s been around for a while. Whole Latte Love suggested that if an extra $500 isn’t a deal breaker, the Profitec Move espresso machine might be the better long-term option since it’s newer. I’ve also seen a few people recommend the Move, so it’s definitely on my radar. Lately I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about the Lelit Elizabeth espresso machine as well. If anyone has experience with it, I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’ve also been watching Lance Hedrick, and his reviews have me concerned that these machines without preinfusion will have me missing out on better shots.
Well...my Bambino has preinfusion. So why upgrade then?

What I’m really after is something that still feels approachable. I don’t need a hyper-complex, “lab experiment” workflow. I’m happy to put in a bit more attention than the Bambino requires, but I still want a machine that’s enjoyable and not overly demanding day to day.

It seems like once you get into the $1,500–$2,500 range, the differences between machines become more nuanced. It’s less about “good vs bad” and more about preferences like flow control, pre-infusion, and workflow. When I was shopping under $800, the choices felt much clearer. Now I’m trying to sort through what feels like dozens of great dual boiler options.

Would love to hear what people recommend and why.
